Ajinkya Rahane express his point of view after dropped out from the Indain team

After a smashing win in the fifth ODI against Australia by 7 wickets. Thus Indian team lifted the ODI series title by 4-1. After that Indian team has to play three twenty 20 matches against Australia. The ODI series is set to kick off on 7 October 2017. After the win in the fifth ODI, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced the 15 names of players who included for the three twenty 20 matches against Australia.

The twenty 20 team announced by the BCCI include Shikhar Dhawan, Dinesh Karthik, and Ashish Nehra. All players were out of the team in ODI series and some of them are included in the team after a long time.

In the ODI series, Ajinkya Rahane replaced Shikhar Dhawan as an opener. But for the twenty 20 series, Ajinkya Rahane is dropped by the BCCI and given a chance to Shikhar Dhawan. Ajinkya Rahane, whose performance was outstanding in the ODI series. In the One-day day international matches, he posted four half-centuries consecutively.

In the West Indies tour of India, he was elected as man of the series. But he dropped out from the team for the 3 upcoming twenty 20 matches against Australia. He said that he respects the decision taken by the BCCI. Let’s move below to check out his expression after dropped out by the BCCI.

During the interaction between Ajinky Rahane and reporters in Mumbai, he said,”Yes, so much cricket we have played in last few months, the team management, selectors take the right decision and we must respect their decision. Speaking about the competition, it is essential for every Indian player and it helps you to give your best performance. Whoever gets a chance does well for the team. I have always enjoyed the competition”

He added more,” “Yes, I am enjoyed too much. Which responsibility and the opportunity I was given, the way I was supposed to bat, I did very greatly. Definitely, I am glad about the best performance in ODI series against Australia, I have made four consecutive fifties”
