Big Bash League 2017-18 Prize Money
Initially, the prize money for the Big Bash league was $290,000 up to the up to the 5th season of the Big Bash league. After that in the year 2015-16 the price money for the Big Bash league has been increased by the Cricket Australia to get popularity around the world.
As per the announcement regarding 7th season Big Bash League, the total prize money for the upcoming 7th season will be $890,000. The total prize money will be split between the clubs competing in the tournament. According to that, the Champion of the tournament will be rewarded total $450,000.
After that, the runner up team for the title is set to get $260,000. While the teams who will face loss in the semifinal, they will be rewarded $80,000 to semifinalist losing team. Due to increment in the prize money from the Big Bash League 2015-16. This league has become more popular around the world compared to last few seasons.
