India put on huge total of 566-dec on scoreboard in their first inning. Thanks to maiden test double century by skipper Virat Kohli and brilliant century performance by R Ashwin. After that bowling department did their fantastic job. They did not allow any West Indian batsman to get going for long. With disciplined bowling they made all out just at 243 in the first innings.

India did not leave the opportunity to keep their feet on opponent’s throat. They gave the follow-on challenge. West Indies could not resist for too long. They scored just 231 runs in their second innings. R Ashwin was the destroyer in the second innings. He took 7 wickets by conceding just 83 runs. He was declared as man of the match for his brilliant all round performance.

Along with R Ashwin and skipper Virat Kohli, Shikhar Dhawan and Amit Mishra were also impressive. Both scored half centuries and helped the total to reach upto 566. This was the biggest win margin outside Asia. Fast bowlers like Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav were excellent in the first innings. Overall it was dominating performance by India.

West Indies would like to forget the defeat. They would also like to make come back in the series by leveling the series 1-1. They will have to play really good cricket as most of the Indian players are in very good form.

On other side Indian players would like to continue their good form in the next match. Although they beat West Indies by huge margin they cannot underestimate the West Indies players. So hopefully India will take care of that.
