According to the news of England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB), The NatWest T20 Blast 2017 tournament is going to begin on 7 July 2017 and conclude on 2 September 2017. The final match for the NatWest T20 Blast 2017 at Edgbaston Cricket Ground in Birmingham on 2 September 2017. This tournament run by England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) since 2014. In the NatWest T20 Blast 2017 tournament, total 18 teams take participate. 18 teams are divided into 2 groups North and South division Each group contains 9 teams. Each team from every division play 6 matches twice with another team at their home ground and opponents home ground.

In this tournament, if any team win the match, they get 2 points. If match tie or abandoned in such a situation both teams get 1 point. After ending of group stage match, 4 teams from each group qualify for the knockout stage. Four teams are selected as per their point table and net run rate.
