Pakistan may host Kabaddi World Cup 2018

Recently Secretary of General Asian Kabaddi Association and former international Kabaddi player Rana Muhammad Sarwar revealed that Pakistan may hot two upcoming Kabaddi tournament. Pakistan may host Asian Beach Kabaddi Championship in August and Kabaddi World Cup 2018.

The General Secretary, Rana Muhammad Sarwar said that the current environment is good to host the upcoming Kabaddi World Cup and Prime Minister, Nawaz  Sharif has keen to host the kabaddi tournament.

He added more,” Kabaddi federation of both countries India and Pakistan. They are willing to promote around Kabaddi the world at their level. Both of them have played some matches to attract Kabaddi fans the around the world.

He said that In the South Asian Games which was held in India. In the tournament, India defeated Pakistan by just a point but Pakistan defended India as well in the Asia Cup. There is more strength as far as players of Kabaddi are concerned in both countries Pakistan and India. He said that currently total 43 countries are indulging with International Kabaddi Federation. After that, we could be a part of  International Olympic Committee (IOC).

Mr. Rana added,” We have accomplished the criteria and requirement for the membership of International Olympic Committee (IOC)”General Secretary of AIPs Asia Amjad Aziz Malik, and Director Sports PSB Coaching Center Mumtaz Ahmad Nadeem, Mr. Rana said that as Secretary-General Asian Kabaddi Association he along with his team from other Asian countries are giving their best efforts to promote Kabaddi around in Asia as much as possible.

The Secretary KP,  Arbab Naseer Khan has been retired from his position and settled down in Canada along with his family. Mr. Rana revealed that former international kabaddi player and referee Syed Sultan Shah will be the new Secretary KP Kabaddi Association. Both counties, India and Pakistan are in favor to support the ancient game, Kabaddi around the world.
