Vijay, Ishant included in India squad for first two Tests against SL

Recently the BCCI announced that after the conclusion of India vs New Zeland series. Thereafter the Sri Lankan team is scheduled to India. Both teams have to play 3 test matches, 3 One Day International matches and 3 twenty 20 matches.

The BCCI has released the squad for the upcoming 2 test matches series between India and Sri Lanka. The 16 member squad include some of the interesting names who were out of the team for a long time. The BCCI recalled, the right-handed opener Murali Vijay and pacer Ishant Sharma. Murli Vijay replaced Abhinav Mukund for upcoming 2 test matches. While the squad for the final test match is not announced yet by the BCCI.

Murli Vijay had achieved his fix place in Indian test team. When Indian team visited Sri Lankan tour. But during the series, he had to rule out of the squad due to his wrist injury. In that tour, his place was taken by Shikhar Dhawan. The squad includes a most interesting name, Kuldeep Yadav. He also included for the 3 test matches series against Sri Lanka. While the selectors again ignored Ace spinners Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.

The BCCI revealed that the main intention to droop Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja to give rest to them as well give an opportunity to youths.  Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja provided by the BCCI. After replacement of  Abhinav Mukund, the opening of the Indian team is in the hand of Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan.

The Indian team has to visit Sri Lanka in the month of  November 2017. The test series is scheduled to kick off on 16 November 2017. Second test match is on 24 November while the last test match is on 2 December.
