BCCI declares cash prize for India Women’s Cricket team to attractive Performance

After the mind blowing and outstanding performance of India Women’s cricket team in ICC Women’s World Cup. As per their outstanding performance in this tournament. India Women’s succeeded to enter in the final of ICC Women’s World Cup. They defeated Australia by 36 runs in the 2nd semifinal of this tournament.

Here we have a good news for the India Women team. The good news is that The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has announced that every Indian player will get the reward of Rs 50 Lakhs. Also, the supporting staff of this team will be rewarded Rs 25 lakhs.

The announcement regarding the reward was made on Saturday. On that day India had a 2nd semifinal match between Australia. In that match, Harmanpreet Kaur made a big score of 171 runs in 115 balls. Due to the performance, India won the match by 36 runs.

The final match of ICC Women’s World Cup is between India and England. As per the schedule, the final match is to take place on 23 July 2017 at the Lord’s stadium in London. After defeating South Africa women in 1st semi final by 2wickets, England entered in the Final.

In the final match, approximately 27,000 audiences are expected to attend the final fight between India vs Australia in the ICC Women’s World Cup. In the 1st semifinal match between England vs South Africa, approximately  4,000 people came to watch that match.

C K Khanna, Acting President of BCCI said, “We all are proud for the outstanding and match winning performance of Harmanpreet Kaur of 171 runs in 115 balls in women’s World Cup semifinal against the defending champion Australia,”

He added “I on behalf of BCCI congratulate the Kaur, team captain Mithali and entire team. BCCI will discuss and announce the award to Women’s Cricket Team and support staff on their tremendous performance in World Cup. We all look forward to welcome the team with World Cup 2017”
