Muttiah Muralitharan and Bharat Arun are set to as a mentor and coach for the Thiruvallur Veerans (TNPL)

As per our resources, We get to hear that Tamil Nadu Premier League. (TNPL) franchise Thiruvallur Veerans appointed Muttiah Muralitharan and Bharat Arun to guide and train Thiruvallur Veerans for the upcoming season of the TNPL. Muttiah Muralitharan has the experience to play in IPL with the representing the city of Chennai. He has played in IPL, in the team of Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

Muttiah Muralitharan said “ Chandrasekhar owner of Veerans was the man who picked me to play for CSK in Indian Premier League (IPL) and my heart lies in Tamil Nadu because I belong from here.  I am delighted to be a part of India Cements Ltd. TNPL and thankful to Chandrasekhar to permit me to mentor the Veerans. India Cements Ltd. TNPL is an opportunity for me to do something for Tamil Nadu cricket. I look forward to working with the boys. Chandrasekhar always used to by a young team alter them into future stars and I hope I can add my inputs as the mentor,”

Arun appreciated  Muralitharan due to his inclination towards TNPL, Arun replayed   “It is delightful to get to know that Murali is the coach and trainer for the VB team and he will be sharing the dressing room with young players. It may be a memorable experience to share his valuable experience with youngsters. He will also provide motivation to youngsters players and to mould them into a star for the India”

Chairman of the Governing Council of the TNPL, P.S. Raman brought some addition and important information regarding this league. “ We must have some additional ground in Coimbatore as well, but it is very difficult to ready on time, By God grace, we will be having some new and extra ground for the next year.”

He also had a debate on the topic of outstation players against  BCCI in the TNPL.
