Atleast 29 people were killed and more than 60 were injured in a bomb blast in which a suicide bomber bombed himself. At a soccer stadium in central Iraq on Friday, according to the Associated Press. As there was a huge crowd, more people lost their lives and many casualties occurred.

The attack took place in the town of Iskandariya, which is about 30 miles south of Baghdad. “The bombing came as Iraqi military spokesman Yahya Rusoul announced that Iraqi troops and Sunni tribal fighters recaptured the western town of Kubeisa from the Islamic State group,” the AP reports.

The terrorist group of ISIS has claimed responsibility for the attack,  as per the reports by CNN’s Arwa Damon.

The attack comes just three days after the deadly ISIS bomb attack in Brussels. In which they killed about atleast 34 people. After that attack, Belgium’s national team canceled its scheduled training session in the city  and moved for next week’s friendly match against Portugal to the Portuguese city of Leira.
