Pakistan name women’s squad for South Africa tour

Fatima Sana will continue to lead Pakistan’s women’s team on the white-ball tour of South Africa, with new players earning call-ups to the national side.

The white-ball regulars Aliya Riaz, Ayesha Zafar, Gull Feroz, Muneeba Ali, Nashra Sandhu, Natalia Parvail, Rameen Shamim, Sadia Iqbal, Sidra Amin, and Tasmia Rubab are included in both squads, whereas Saira Jabeen and right-arm pacer Humna Bilal are included in the T20I teams for the first time.

Ayesha, Gull Tasmi, and wicket-keeper batter Najiha Alvi have made a return to the ODI side after missing out on the ODI World Cup.

The T20Is series will commence on 10 February, with the second and third T20Is scheduled for 13 and 16 February.
