The tentative date for the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 11 draft has been revealed, with reports suggesting the event will take place on 30 January.
According to a report by Geo Super, PSL management has begun working on the draft plan, which is expected to be held toward the end of this month.
The report cited sources, stating that the league management aims to complete all formalities ahead of the PSL 11 draft, after which the official venue and date will be announced.
The report further mentioned that the PSL 11 draft is likely to be held during a one-day break in Australia’s tour of Pakistan.

For those unaware, PSL recently underwent its first major expansion since its inaugural edition in 2015. On Thursday, 8 January, two new teams — Hyderabad and Sialkot were added during the historic auction held at the Jinnah Convention Centre, Islamabad.
These two new outfits will join the existing six teams: Karachi Kings, Quetta Gladiators, Lahore Qalandars, Multan Sultans, Islamabad United and Peshawar Zalmi.
The Hyderabad franchise was bought by Fawad Sarwar’s FKS Group for a successful bid of Rs. 1.75 billion. Meanwhile, Hamza Majeed, owner of OZ Developers, acquired the Sialkot franchise with a record bid of Rs 1.85 billion, making it the most expensive team in the tournament’s history.
The official names of the new teams will be announced in due course. The biggest edition of the tournament to date, PSL 11 is expected to run from 26 March to 3 May.
