The likely date for the players’ auction of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 11 has been leaked, according to Pro Sports, which reported on Wednesday.
According to the report, February 14, 2026, has been finalised as the date for the auction, which will clash with the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 fixtures.
The auction date has drawn attention as the national team will already be busy in the group stage matches of the mega cricket event during the activity.

Pakistan is included in Group A of the ICC T20 World Cup, alongside India, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia.
The Green Shirts will face the Netherlands and the USA on February 7 and 10, 2026, respectively.
The situation is compounded by Pakistan having to take on their arch-rivals on February 15, a day after the PSL auction.
The overlap raises questions about the availability of team leadership, who play a major role in squad building, as well as franchise strategies and administrative coordination, with key members likely to be busy in the ICC T20 World Cup.
With national team players busy in the mega cricketing event, PSL franchises may face difficulty in finalising squads.
For the unversed, the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has scrapped the traditional draft system and will use an auction model for the first time in PSL ahead of its landmark season 11.
The move is aimed at increasing the competitiveness between the outfits and giving a fair chance for the two newly added teams to pick their players.
