India talismanic batter Virat Kohli set social media abuzz after comically mimicking teammate Arshdeep Singh running style.
Ahead of the opening fixture of the three-match One Day International (ODI) series against New Zealand, the Indian team were involved in a training session at Vadodara.
During the session, Kohli appeared in a good mood, mimicking the team’s fast bowler Arshdeep’s running style and sharing a laugh.
The former captain’s video quickly gathered fans’ attention online and went viral.
Before that, Virat Kohli shared several photos online from the training session alongside teammates KL Rahul, Yashasvi Jaiswal and Harshit Rana. This marked the first time in over two years that the talismanic batter had posted pictures of his on-field preparations.

The first match of the ODI series will be played on Sunday, 11 January at Kotambi Stadium, Vadodara, followed by the second and third fixtures on 14 and 18 Jan in Rajkot and Indore, respectively.
For those unaware, both Arshdeep Singh and Virat Kohli are heading into the series on the back of a rich vein of form after featuring in the Vijay Hazare Trophy 2025-26.
Virat Kohli, who represented Delhi, amassed 208 runs in two innings at an average of 104 and a strike rate of 128.39, with the help of a century and a half-century.
Meanwhile, Arshdeep Singh took seven wickets in two matches, with best figures of 5/34 while playing for Punjab against Sikkim.
A strong showing in the New Zealand series could also move Kohli to the top spot in the ICC ODI batting rankings.
The right-hander has already earned the Player of the Series award for outstanding performance against South Africa, where he notched up 302 runs in three games at a staggering average of 151, which included two centuries and a fifty.
