LAHORE: Pakistan squad for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has been revealed, with the tournament scheduled to take place in India and Sri Lanka from February 7.
The squad was announced during a press conference featuring PCB Director of High Performance and member of the men’s national selection committee, Aqib Javed, Head Coach of the Pakistan white-ball team, Mike Hesson and T20I captain Salman Ali Agha at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
Skipper Salman Ali Agha, along with Sahibzada Farhan, Faheem Ashraf, Mohammad Salman Mirza, Khawaja Mohammad Nafay and Usman Tariq have received their maiden call-ups to the national team’s squad for the mega event.
Meanwhile, Babar Azam, Fakhar Zaman, Abrar Ahmed, Naseem Shah, Mohammad Nawaz, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Saim Ayub, Shadab Khan and Usman Khan have featured in at least one edition of the mega event since 2021.

The 20 teams that will play the tournament are divided into four groups of five.
Pakistan is included in Group A, alongside India, the USA, the Netherlands, and Namibia.
The Green Shirts will begin their World Cup campaign against Netherland on February 7, 2026, in Colombo.
The biggest match of the Pakistan team in the event will be on February 15 against arch-rivals India.
The 2009 champions are scheduled to play all of their matches in Sri Lanka; Colombo will host their four Group stage clashes, with Super Eights matches also scheduled in Colombo and Kandy.
